Language Courses
Our immersion language courses in France and Canada give students the opportunity to discover France or the province of Québec, and improve their proficiency in French. Students joining a 4-weeks intensive language course at one of our partner institutions will apply the knowledge and skills they have acquired at HKU, increase their cultural exposure and make new friends!
Students who have completed FREN2002 (French II.2) can transfer this experience to FREN3119 - Overseas immersion language course (6 credits). Download the FREN3119 application form
Students joining our French language courses abroad can benefit from financial assistance in the form of Short-term Abroad Opportunities (SAO) offered by HKU.
For students going to France, eligible participants can also benefit from a scholarship offered by the Consulate General of France in Hong Kong and the Legion d’Honneur Hong Kong Chapter.
