In this course, participants will have the opportunity to interact and collaborate online with students from selected academic partners in France and Europe. Using the global issue of healthy cities, participants will work on a collaborative project that will require them to reflect on their own context and devise solutions to make a positive impact on their own community and beyond.
A major aim of this course is to instil confidence in Hong Kong students to think and act globally, to encourage them to participate in intercultural encounters and to acquire new tools to reflect on one’s culture. Topics of research and discussion will include key aspects of healthy cities such as infrastructure, well-being, and diversity.
Collaborative online synchronous and asynchronous activities will be enriched by face-to-face lectures organized to explore the main concepts of healthy cities, online telecollaborative tools and interculturality.
Students will receive feedback and guidance throughout the project. This course will be delivered in French with the aim to support language acquisition."
