We plan to strengthen the network of our students and alumni through various activities such as alumni reunions, social or cultural programmes. We also prepare to keep our alumni informed of the latest news on the events and activities of the French-speaking community in Hong Kong. |
The Consulate General of France in Hong Kong offers this year again up to 5 scholarships to Hong Kong and Macao students for Master studies. This programme is named after Alexandre Yersin, a famous French scientist from the Institut Pasteur who discovered the plague bacillus in Hong Kong in 1894.
The scholarships cover fields such as Business and management, Law, Political Sciences, Science, Engineering, Design and Architecture, Fine Arts. Applications close on April 21, 2008

The College of Europe will allocate one place for a student from Hong Kong to enroll in its one-year Master's programme in 2008-2009. The Belgium-Hong Kong Society will continue to finance this meaningful course in the form of a scholarship.

The 36th edition of the Hong Kong French Film Festival will take place from December 7 to December 16 this year. The Festival is presented by the Alliance Française of Hong Kong and will feature a large range of recently released films as well as classics.

The Consulate General of France fosters French higher education promotion in Hong Kong & Macao and participates in “Education & Career’s Fair (ECE)” and co-organizes the “European Higher Education Fair (EHEF)” with the Consulates of Germany, Finland & Sweden.
The Cultural & Scientific Department is in search of a high caliber candidate for the position of Project Manager (Education Fairs) for one month (December 2007) which can be extended for another four months (January – April 2008). The appointee will be in charge of the French participation in the above mentioned Education Fairs.

"Le French May 2008" Poster Design Concept competition. Design concepts are to be presented for a poster to communicate through images and text the spirit of "Le French May 2008". The grand prize-winning poster design concept will be the centerpiece of the promotional campaign for the largest French Arts Festival in the Asia-Pacific region in 2008.
