Por los calles de Alcalá
For Felix and Derris, Spain is Cervantes and storks. They pursue the
writer's life and works through the twisting alleys of his home town of
Alcala de Henares, where European storks have made their nests on every
16th century spire, roof and turret.

Todo Sobre Me Madre
(All about my Mother), Felix's host "mother" in Alcala, Senora Carmen,
is as eccentric as a character from the Almodovar film of the same name,
and a martinet when it comes to correct Spanish. She won't let Felix get
away with any mispronunciations, and is especially strict with the difficulties
he is having with the Spanish "r". "Your granddaughter's name is Ba...bara?",
ventures Felix. "Non, Barrrrbarrrra!", admonishes Carmen. "Bar...ba...ra...
¿es correcto?" responds Felix in despair.
